The Angels' Important Job |

A nativity play to involve small children.
Requires 3 adults with speaking parts, plus a cow, a sheep, Mary & Joseph.
Kids are all dressed as angels.

God: Angels!?! Now you are all here, I have a Very Important Job for you to do. Actually, two very important jobs.
Gabriel: Wow, yes, Lord God, how very exciting!
God: I have made a big decision. I am sending my Son, Jesus, into the world!
Michael: Wow! That’s fabulous! Are you sending us as his armed guard, his vanquishing army, his superheros of magnificence??
God: No. I am sending him on his own. As a baby. He will be born.
Gabriel: Born? Where?
God: Ah, well, that’s your first job. You need to find a safe warm place for him to be born. Off you go!
At the end of the play the children hand out red love hearts to all the congregation. "Jesus is alive in my heart"
