You walk toward me,

I step toward you

and in the middle we meet

4 arms wrapping

2 into 1

1 + 1 = more

+ 3 = family

+ small furry ones

+ so many others

we love and uphold.

You and I form the crux

in love’s equation

holding on and holding out,

indivisible.

Marriage = work + joy + normal
