sometimes my heart leaks
and my eyes overflow
and my world seems upside down.

sometimes your hand rests heavy
and I put each foot down
into your footsteps,
just one
at a time.

sometimes the mirror mists
and I see only in part
and love’s touch stings.

Come Spirit of God
