Psalm 123: Asking for help
 
Jesus said “Ask me, and whatever you ask
I will do for you, to glorify the Father.” (John 14:13)
And so we come to you, Lord,
like kids asking their Dad for help,
and we ask …
for the needs of our friends,
for the troubles of our world,
and for ourselves.
Have mercy on us, O Lord!
Be at work in every situation.
Send out your Spirit to bless and to lead.
Have mercy on us, O Lord!
